Portable Appliance Testing
So what’s it all about? Portable appliance testing (PAT) is the term used to describe the examination of electrical appliances and equipment to ensure they are safe to use.
Just to dispel some of the myths PAT is not governed by law although the HSE require that all electrical equipment is safe to use. Therefore, it makes good sense that Holiday Home owners have regular checks to make sure their appliances are in good order. .
Fire Safety Management
From October 2023 Holiday Homes will be required by law to have completed a Fire Risk Assessment (FRA).
Westlake Property Services have completed the Fire Risk Assessment competency training and are an affiliate member of the Institute of Fire Safety Managers (IFSM)
